Hence, it is being dubbed as Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Plus or Mi 10 Pro Max. Yesterday, Xiaomi confirmed that it will be holding a virtual event on Aug. 11 in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the company. Rumors are rife that the Mi 10 Pro Plus phone may go official at the event. Meanwhile, the rumor mill is working hard to reveal more details of the next Mi 10 series flagship. The reason behind it was that a 120W charger was found mentioned in the 3C listing. The name of the device is not known, but it is speculated to launch as a Mi 10 series phone. Hence, it is being dubbed as Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Plus. The smartphone is expected to debut in China in the coming month. Ahead of the alleged August launch, the Xiaomi M2007J1SC phone has appeared on AnTuTu benchmarks with an outstanding score.</p>
<p>The M2007J1SC scored 182,883 and 292,704 in CPU and GPU tests of AnTuTu, respectively. In the memory and UX tests, the device scored 115,687 and 96,148, respectively. The handset recorded an average benchmarking score of 687,422.</p>
<p>The leakster who <a href="https://www.weibo.com/6048569942/JdaVo6HQL?from=page_1005056048569942_profile&amp;wvr=6&amp;mod=weibotime">shared</a> the AnTuTu scores of the M2007J1SC phone through his Weibo account claimed that the AnTuTu screenshot fits perfectly on the screen of the Mi 10 series. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-10-5g/">Xiaomi Mi 10</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-10-pro-5g">Mi 10 Pro</a>v are equipped with 6.67-inch displays that support 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-334133" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Xioami-Mi-10-Pro-Plus-AnTuTu.jpg?x10805" alt="Xioami (M2007J1SC) Mi 10 Pro Plus AnTuTu" width="1690" height="1227" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Xioami-Mi-10-Pro-Plus-AnTuTu.jpg 1690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Xioami-Mi-10-Pro-Plus-AnTuTu-300x218.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Xioami-Mi-10-Pro-Plus-AnTuTu-768x558.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Xioami-Mi-10-Pro-Plus-AnTuTu-1024x743.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Xioami-Mi-10-Pro-Plus-AnTuTu-324x235.jpg 324w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Xioami-Mi-10-Pro-Plus-AnTuTu-696x505.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Xioami-Mi-10-Pro-Plus-AnTuTu-1068x775.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Xioami-Mi-10-Pro-Plus-AnTuTu-578x420.jpg 578w" sizes="(max-width: 1690px) 100vw, 1690px" /></p>

<p>Hence, it is likely that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Plus Pro phone could be coming with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. The display will possibly have curved edges and a punch-hole at the top-left corner. The tipster has previously claimed that the screen of the device will <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/07/15/xiaomi-m2007j1sc-with-120w-charger-bags-3c-certification/">support a 120Hz refresh rate</a>. The Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro are equipped with 90Hz refresh rate supporting displays.</p>
<p>There were reports that the M2007J1SC has a 108-megapixel main camera. However, the tipster <a href="https://www.weibo.com/6048569942/JdfDUjiAj?from=page_1005056048569942_profile&amp;wvr=6&amp;mod=weibotime">seems to be saying</a> that instead of the 108-megapixel lens, the phone will have a 48-megapixel sensor. This information corroborates with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/07/16/xiaomis-snapdragon-865-plus-phone-has-120w-fast-charging-and-48mp-camera-claims-report/">XDA’s report</a> that claimed that the M2007J1SC phone could be sporting at least three rear cameras. Apart from the main shooter, it is expected to come with an ultrawide lens that can also capture macro shots and a periscope lens with high optical zoom capabilities.</p>
<p>The M2007J1SC could be powered by the latest Snapdragon 865 Plus mobile platform. The other details of the phone currently under wraps.</p>

As the name itself indicates, the phone is an upgraded variant of the existing flagship &#8212; Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro.</p>
<p>Today, he has shared a new post on Weibo related to the launch of Mi 10 Pro Plus. From the post, it seems that the company is planning to host an in-person launch event in China. Further, it appears that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/lei-jun">Lei Jun</a> himself will host the launch event.</p>
<figure id="attachment_167101" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-167101" style="width: 798px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-167101 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/xiaomi-leijun.jpg?x10805" alt="Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun" width="798" height="542" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/xiaomi-leijun.jpg 798w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/xiaomi-leijun-300x204.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/xiaomi-leijun-768x522.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 798px) 100vw, 798px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-167101" class="wp-caption-text">Lei Jun, Founder and CEO of Xiaomi</figcaption></figure>
<p>This is an exciting development given that the in-person launch events have not been taking place for more than four months now due to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/covid-19">COVID-19</a> pandemic. But as most countries are opening up, there&#8217;s a possibility of physical launch events.</p>
<p>However, do note that this is not yet confirmed and it&#8217;s speculation at this point in time, based on the post by the company&#8217;s CEO on Weibo. We expect more information regarding this in the coming days.</p>
<p>As for the smartphone, Lei Jun has hinted about several features that could be a part of the upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-10-pro-5g/">Mi 10 Pro</a> Plus smartphone. The features include Dual Speakers, high refresh rate display, 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, Infrared sensor, 30x and more zoom support, Front and rear optical sensors, VC heat sink, 4500mAh battery, and wireless charging.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s likely that the Mi 10 Pro Plus will come with a 120Hz AMOLED display and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/07/20/xiaomi-mi-10-pro-plus-feature-sd865-not-plus-variant/">pack Snapdragon 865 chipset</a> or the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC. It will have a quad-camera setup on the back with 100 MP primary sensor, optimized for better zoom capabilities.</p>
<p>It will be running the Android 10 operating system out-of-the-box with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/miui-12">MIUI 12</a> on top. The phone, powered by a 4,500mAh or bigger battery, will likely have support for 120W Mi Turbo fast charging technology.</p>
<p>We expect Xiaomi to share more details about this smartphone as well as shed some more light on the phone&#8217;s launch event. To know more, we will have to wait for a few more days.</p>
