Xiaomi sold over 1 million devices in India during the Republic Day Sale

India celebrates Republic Day on 26 January every year since 1950. This year, the tradition continued and special events were held across the country. Xiaomi, which has deep ties with the Asian country, organized a campaign between the 26th and 30th of the month. This campaign, called the Republic Day Sale, caused discounts on hundreds of products. Xiaomi did well for itself as it announced that it has sold over 1 million products during its sale.

Unfortunately, the company did not disclose how many of each product it sold. It just announced that one million different products have been sold. However, Xiaomi makes everything from headphones to smart TVs so, it’s not easy to predict. Still, we know that Redmi models are quite popular in the country. According to initial reports, The Redmi Note 12 series sold over ₹5 billion worth of phones in less than two weeks since launch (January 11 to 23). This is up from the ₹3 billion reported for the first week of availability.

Xiaomi Republic Day sale that began on Jan. 24 on Mi.com and Mi Store app in India will come to an end today Through this sale, fans can not only avail Xiaomi smartphones at discounted pricing, but also other products like power banks, accessories, home gadgets and non-tech products are now listed with enticing pricing.

Smartphone Deals

There is a flat discount of Rs. 3,000 on Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 as it is now available for Rs. 32,999. The Mi A1 is now selling for Rs. 13,999 after a price cut of Rs. 1,000. The Mi Max 2 is listed with a price tag of Rs. 12,999 after a discount of Rs. 1,000.

The Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 4 smartphones are now available with a starting price of Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 6,999, respectively.
