Xiaomi has unveiled a new color variant for its Smart Switch Pro – a sleek White version. The smart switch was initially launched in China last year in October and this new addition complements the existing Deep Space Grey option.

Xiaomi Smart Switch Pro is priced at 129 yuan ($18) and it remains a compelling choice for budget-conscious users seeking to add smart lighting control to their homes.

Coming to the specs, the smart switch boasts a single live and neutral wire compatible design, eliminating the need to worry about existing wiring configurations during installation. This feature makes it easy to replace traditional switches, especially in older homes that might lack neutral wires.

The Xiaomi Smart Switch Pro features a premium AG glass panel with an external AF coating. This results in a switch that’s resistant to scratches, fingerprints, and even oil stains, ensuring a clean and responsive experience. It’s a welcome improvement over traditional plastic switches that can become grimy and less responsive over time.

Xiaomi Smart Switch Pro boasts AI self-checking and adaptive mode and is built with V-0 flame retardant material, offering exceptional fire resistance. It also boasts brass-plated gold terminals for improved circuit connection stability and reduced power consumption. Xiaomi has launched two new products – the Xiaomi Smart Switch Pro and Xiaomi Smart Wall Socket Pro. Both products are now on sale, with prices starting at 129 yuan ($17) and 149 yuan ($20) respectively.

Xiaomi Smart Switch Pro – Features

In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi Smart Switch Pro adopts a single-zero fire-compatible design and supports AI self-test adaptive mode. The device also utilizes an AG glass panel and has an external AF coating. The coating ensures that the product is resistant to oil stains, fingerprints, and scratches.

The smart switch comes with a load power of 2200W. When the rated power or temperature is exceeded, the product automatically cuts off power.

Xiaomi Wall Socket Pro – Features

On its part, the Xiaomi Wall Socket Pro is integrated with three control methods – remote, scheduled, and XiaoAI voice control. It also supports dual-protocol 20W fast charging and provides USB-A/C dual interfaces. Users can customize more functions by pairing it with a Bluetooth Mesh gateway or a device with a Bluetooth Mesh gateway function.

In addition, the new product can directly replace traditional switches/sockets and can set automation scenes through the MIJIA app to achieve intelligent control. Users can also check the daily/monthly power consumption of devices plugged into the socket via the MIJIA app.
