ASUS is gearing up to launch two powerful yet portable Zenbook laptops in India. The new Zenbook S16 (UM5606GA) and the Zenbook 14 (UM3406GA) are a part of the brand’s premium flagship notebook lineup, bringing cutting edge hardware in a slim form factor. Official teasers have confirmed the launch date for these laptops, so here are all the details.

ASUS Zenbook S16 & Zenbook 14 India Debut

The PC giant has shared teaser posters on its official website and Amazon India. These confirm that the pre-orders for the premium laptops go live on 5th February 2026, while the full release is set for February 12. These notebooks are a part of ASUS’ latest flagship lineup that features AMD’s powerful new Ryzen AI 400 series processors, which promise capable performance, improved power efficiency, and enhanced AI capabilities.

Both of these are CoPilot+ compatible and can be configured with up to a Ryzen AI 9 465 CPU. This chip is designed to handle demanding workflows and on-device AI tasks, making them ideal for productivity, creative work, multitasking, and CoPilot+ PC features. Based on what we know so far, the Zenbook S16 is said to sport a 3K ASUS Lumina OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is built using ASUS’ Ceraluminum construction for a premium feel with a slim profile and superlight 1.2kg body. Battery life is a highlight, with the brand claiming over 25 hours of endurance on a single full charge.

Pre-orders for both laptops start at 10:00 AM IST on February 5 via Amazon India, ASUS India online store and ASUS Exclusive Stores. Customers placing a Rs 1 pre-order can enjoy benefits worth ₹5,599, including an extended two-year warranty and three years of accidental damage protection.

ASUS has just announced a pair of new laptops in the Indian market. The Zenbook 14 is a premium ultra thin notebook that is powered by a Ryzen AI chip, while the Vivobook S16 is a powerful new laptop equipped with Intel’s Core Ultra Series 2 processor. So here are all the details like its specs and pricing.

ASUS Zenbook 14

Zenbook are the brand’s top-of-the-line series that is known for their premium designs and cutting edge hardware. But one of its most notable aspects is its gorgeous 14-inch 2.8K OLED display (2880 x 1800) that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 400 nits of peak brightness, 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut, and VESA CERTIFIED Display HDR True Black 600.

Under the hood, the ASUS Zenbook 14 is equipped with the AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 CPU, which is paired with an AMD XDNA NPU that delivers up to 50TOPS of performance and Integrated AMD Radeon Graphics. This chip is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD. A large 75Wh battery powers the Zenbook 14, which the brand claims can offer up to 17 hours of battery life.

ASUS Vivobook S16

ASUS also unveiled the Vivobook S16 that arrives with a more powerful Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor. This is the same CPU that powers the more expensive Zenbook 14 OLED. You get both great performance and power efficiency, along with the Intel AI Boost NPU (up to 13TOPS) and Intel Arc graphics. The processor is paired with 16GB DDR5 RAM and 512GB of M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD.

It is a bigger laptop model, which is a 16-inch IPS LCD panel with a FHD+ resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, and 300 nits of peak brightness. Other notable features include a 1.7 kilogram body, a 70Wh battery pack with 65W Type-C charging, Windows 11, Bluetooth 5, and WiFi 6. ASUS has just announced a potential Macbook Air killer. Just like Apple’s super thin laptop, the company’s new offering is just 11.9mm thin, featuring a beautiful aerospace-grade aluminum chassis. And due to its thin body and super light metal chassis, the Zenbook 3 weighs just 910 grams. So, it’s no surprise that the company is calling it the “the world’s most prestigious laptop”. This is also the company’s laptop with the best screen to body ratio of 82 percent. And for some added protection, you get Corning’s Gorilla Glass protection for the display.

But like always, striving for the thinnest laptop does have some drawbacks. For example, the new Zenbook 3 comes with just a USB Type-C port along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. This can reportedly be used to charge up to 60 percent in 49 minutes. But ASUS is offering a USB Type-C universal dock to add up a few other ports to the device, like standard USB, USB Type-C, HDMI, RJ45, HDMI and 3-in1 card reader.

As for the specs, it’s good enough to take on the best of the Macbook range. Zenboook 3 comes with the fast Core i7 processor with 16GB of RAM on board and 1TB of PCIe based SSD. The battery inside can reportedly power the device for 9 hours on a single charge. The laptop also gets a fingerprint sensor and it is located on the top-right corner of the touchpad. Other features of the device include four speaker setup from Harman Kardon and LED backlit keys.

The Zenbook 3 comes in three color options — rose gold, royal blue and quartz grey. It starts at a price tag of $1499 for the 512GB SSD + Core i5 processor model and goes up to $1999 for the model with Core i7 and 1TB SSD.
