Xiaomi has been pretty experimental when it comes to launching a new product in the Chinese market. They have been launching many new products every now and then under their branding in China. They have already launched products such as washing machines, airy fryers, kitchen chimneys and whatnot. Now, the brand has launched a new walkie-talkie in the country. The Xiaomi Walkie Talkie 2S has been launched officially with many interesting features such as up to 120 hours of claimed standby time.
The Xiaomi Walkie Talkie 2S offers a slim and textured body for a better grip and feel. The device has 4W transmission power and comes with a 1.7-inch colour display for displaying the necessary information. The display provides a crisp and vivid output. It comes with the support of a USB Type-C port, using which, one can recharge the battery of the gadget. Xiaomi has also provided an IP54 dust and water resistance rating which makes it splashproof. The device also supports FM Radio which can be used seamlessly without any hassles.
The gadget uses a 36mm larger speaker unit for a crisp and loud audio experience. The thickness of the body is only 15mm, and the weight of the whole machine is only 130 grams. It comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack using which one can connect their earphones to the walkie-talkie. The Xiaomi Walkie-Talkie 2S offers up to 80 custom channels in addition to the most popular 20 long-distance channels, and the frequency of each custom channel may be adjusted separately. The Mi Walkie-Talkie 2S also employs 4W transmission power, enabling calls in metropolitan areas up to 5 kilometres away. The Xiaomi walkie-talkie app is also supported by the device, allowing the user to further customise it.
The Xiaomi Walkie Talkie 2S has been priced at CNY 299. The gadget is already up for purchase in the country and interested users can simply order a unit using Xiaomi’s official website.
