Xiaomi formally released its Android tablet, Mipad: 202.1mm length, 8.5mm at thinnest point, 360g weight and with 6 available colors. 16GB for 1499 Yuan and 64GB for 1699Yuan, will be public tested in June.
Xiaomi Mi Pad use 802.11ac 2×2 antenna, which can provide full speed internet experience. 6700mAh LG/ATL battery, the standby time is as long as 1200 hours, listening music for 80 hours and 16hours for movie playing. It support 9v1a and 5v2a fast charging, and high db big size speaker.
Xiaomi Mipad use highlighted painted back shell, anti-fingerprint technology, carrying Sharp/Youda OGS retina screen, 2048×1536 resolution, display accuration is 326 PPI, high brightness, high colour saturation and Corning gorilla 3rd generation touching screen.
Xiaomi Mipad is claimed as the first NVIDIA Tegra K1 tablet in the world, it is powered by NVIDIA Tegra K1 quad core processor （2.2GHz A15 + A15 power saving cores）. The graphic processor performance is 2.3 times than Apple A7. The official sais Xiaomi tablet have fully overwhelmed Apple’s iPad mini2 after tested by Antutu, Geekbench 3、BaseMark OS2、3DMark Unlimited、GFXBench 3.0 texts.
It has high speed 2GB internal memory, 16GB/64GB flash memory and supporting external memory storage up to 128GB tf card.
Xiaomi Mipad use Sony 8MP stack camera and 5MP front OV camera. Front 5MP camera can get better resolution with a hi resolution screen. 80 degree super wide angle is fit for group photos and self snapshot. Both the front and back camera are equipped with 5P/F2.0 large aperture, which can receive more light.
Come to software, Xiaomi use the deeply custom MIUI system, with Xiaomi application store and Xiaomi Game center and Xiaomi developing platform, it hs 100 application and 400 games, and by the end of the year, it will have 1000 apps and 1000 games. There are 16000 books and more than 10000 hot movies played, which can be viewed offline after cached. It has WPS office assistant software, supporting edit normal document and slides’ wireless play and share.
