CoolEco Cool1 Specs: Snapdragon 652, 4GB RAM, Dual Cameras & More! (Updated)

by Joe 24

Coolpad and LeEco just announced the brand new Cool1 flagship. The phone comes with dual cameras at the back, joining the likes of Redmi Pro, Huawei P9, V8 and Honor 8 flagships. The Cool1 specs are quite powerful featuring Snapdragon 652 octa-core chip inside, which is one of the best mid-ranger chipsets in the market today. There are three memory variants of the phone, one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, another with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage and the top-end version with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The pricing is also pretty aggressive, with the standard model starting at 1099 Yuan ($167), mid-range variant at 1499 Yuan ($226) and the top-end model at 1699 Yuan ($256).

    My next phone.

  • Öysan Kulbay

Until i saw the damn borders again.
    The fuck is their problem.
Produce a damn phone without black borders that take up half of the damn screen.

    • illystor

Or at least ship a black version. That at least gave the Mi5 a bit of a pass

  • jirkous

Is there the FDD-LTE B20? I dont get it from the spec sheet.

    • Ulics Tibor

There is no B20. I’ve indicated it to the Gizmochina, but they have removed my comment..

      • Joe

Thanks for bringing this to notice. But I didn’t see your comment on the website and we sure didn’t remove it. 🙂

        • Ulics Tibor

I’ve posted the comment and under that it was noted that the comment is waiting for Gizmochina’s approval. After that it was missing.
Maybe some kind of error in the forum system.
Anyway, it’s not a good thing that they have no B20. I believed that they are planning to launch this phone internationally by using the Coolpad shops and service centers worldwide.

          • Joe

Yes, sometimes comments with links have a hard time getting through our system, but only happens rarely.
As for the lack of B20 support, I m disappointed as well. So many European countries use B20 and they are left out because of this.

          • Ulics Tibor

Sure, also in Hungary. I don’t really care about B20 but “thanks” to this missing band, the Europian community and the support is smaller. My last phone was Le 1s, now I have Le 2 Pro and my next phone will be this one for sure.
As the Hungarian translatior of EUI, I have to move forward with the phones. 😀

          • Joe

I am hoping that LeEco expands its attention to Europe as well. We have lots of Chinese phone lovers from Europe and its about time that Chinese companies start paying attention to their needs as well.
Maybe LeEco will follow Huawei, ZTE and even Nubia by launching phones in the region. Let’s see 🙂

          • Ulics Tibor

For sure they will. First they have the USA in the crosshair. 🙂

          • Joe

Check out the updated LTE Bands (Got it from LeEco’s official website). There’s band 20!

Earlier I relied on Coolpad’s website for the specs, but LeEco’s website has it in detail. You can check out for more details.

          • Ulics Tibor

Thank you, but I see only these:
            FDD-LTE: B1/3/5/7/8

          • Joe

Haha, I messed up while writing the comment. I ll edit it now 🙂

          • Ulics Tibor

Hehe, would be better if there would be B20. In my opinion if they will sell the phones in EU they will include this band.
You can see the Indian Le 2 (X526), it has B20 for some reason, but the Chinese Snapdragon variant (X520) doesn’t have it. Looks like they have an international strategy.
Actually it’s not the best for the users like me who prefer ordering phones from China. 🙂

    • Joe

No B20. The official specs sheet for some reason had (20) in the list, but it wasn’t for B20. I have updated the article.

    • rigge

This, I saw the b20 in parenthesis. I really hope they b20 in, I’ll buy one for me, dad & mom!

  • LeEco and Coolpad had a baby! Congrats

How do you think Cool1 IMX258 camera is better than letv x600 IMX214 ?
Who is the winner – dual cameras vs optical stabilization?

  • jimberkas

seems pretty good for the price. wish they had NFC.
when is LeEco going to release a US phone?

  • Muhammad Yasir
