Yesterday, pictures of Coolpad and LeEco’s first jointly made phone called the Cool1 surfaced online with a release date set for August 10.

An official account, Cool Eco Phone, has been setup on Weibo for the new sub-brand which is a result of the collaboration between both companies. The account which teased the dual camera setup of their new phone has also announced a giveaway of the soon to be released device. Though details of the competition are still unknown.

The Cool1 will feature a 5.5” 2k screen, SD 820 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB ROM, a fingerprint scanner, 3500mAh battery, and dual cameras whose configuration are still unknown. The price will however determine if it’ll be favoured over Xiaomi’s Redmi Pro which starts at 1499 Yuan ($224) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM version and goes up to 1999 Yuan ($300) for the 4GB RAM/128GB ROM version.
