A recently teased poster has revealed that the Gionee S9 would feature a front soft flash which would aid the selfie camera in churning out crisp clear images. In the same vein, real live renders of the S9 have been leaked online showing the black variant of the S9 from both front and back. The renders reveal a lot about the device both physically and also the software angle, as the user interface could be seen on the display. The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and that could be noticed to have gotten a little tweaking by Gionee.

The design isn’t bad either, as the device features well chamfered edges which aid holding the device. The volume keys and power button are also seated at the right side if the device. The device also has a physical home button which also double as the fingerprint scanner to unlock the device.
