Vivo has a new phone in the pipeline and it passed through China’s TENAA a few days ago. The phone which is called the Vivo Y83 is a mid-range phone that also has a notch in its display.
The Vivo Y83 has a 6.22” 720 x 1520 display. This is still HD+ resolution as other 720 x 1440 screens but the notch and extra screen flanking it gives it the bump in resolution.
[envira-gallery id=”189209″]There is 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage with support for storage expansion. The processor is an octa-core chipset clocked at 2.0GHz. The rear camera is a single 13MP sensor and the front-facing camera is an 8MP sensor.
The phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo and packs a 3180mAh battery. Like some new releases from Vivo and its sister-company, OPPO, the Vivo Y83 is missing a fingerprint scanner. However, there is a high chance it has face unlock.

The phone measures 155.21 × 75.24 × 7.7 mm and weighs 152 grams. It will come in gold but the TENAA pictures are of a black variant.
