The OnePlus Nord 3 has just received a new OxygenOS 14.0.0.510 update This update, rolling out across India, Europe, and globally, introduces several features designed to improve the user experience.

Other than integrating the April 2024 security patch, this update is all about adding features that make the user experience more smooth and convenient. The first feature added is the new “Partial screenshot” option in the Smart Sidebar, allowing users to capture specific areas of their screen. Additionally, the Photos app now supports creating collages without frames, offering more flexibility in image editing.

OnePlus has also added support for adjusting the volume for individual apps right from the volume bar. The update also enables a shortcut to activate the flashlight by holding the volume down button when the screen is off.

A fuzzy search option has been added to the Home screen search bar in Drawer mode, which allows users to start searches by typing just the first letter of an app’s name.

Initially, the update is being rolled out to a limited number of devices, with a broader release expected soon. If you haven’t received the OTA update notification on your device, you can manually check for it by going to Settings, then About Device, then OxygenOS, and finally tapping on Check for Update.

For users in India experiencing issues after the update, bug reports can be submitted through the Google Dialer by dialing *#800#.
