The Meizu 16s will be announced on April 23. It is supposed to come along with two siblings – the Meizu 16s Plus and the Meizu 16T which is specifically made for gaming. However, it has been reported that Meizu has canceled the 16s Plus. We don’t know the fate of the Meizu 16T but photos of the device have leaked, albeit a prototype.

Meizu 16T

The Meizu 16s will have dual rear cameras but the Meizu 16T will add an extra sensor for a triple camera setup. It won’t have the ring flash design but a regular LED flash which sits below the cameras.

There is no fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone which means it should have one under the display. There are two screws shown holding the phone together which is unusual for a device that looks to be covered in glass.

The image of the front of the device shows the Meizu 16T will also have thin bezels like the Meizu 16s. It will also skip the notch. The picture is blurry, so we can’t make out more details.

There are no hardware features that show the Meizu 16T is a gaming phone. The design is simple and pales in comparison to other gaming phones on the market, but there might be software features or even accessories like a controller that attaches to the phone that makes it a gaming phone.

The Meizu 16T should come with a Snapdragon 855 processor, an AMOLED display and run Android Pie too. It may also pack a bigger battery. Meizu has confirmed it has an event on April 23 and we expect the Meizu 16T will be announced on that day.
