Realme China recently teased that it will be revealing information on the upcoming smartphone in this week. A couple of days back the company hinted that it would hold an unveil event on September 5. It has now been confirmed that the company will launch the Realme 5 Pro smartphone in China on that day. However, the device will bear a different moniker – Realme Q.
This was revealed recently via a Weibo post by the company’s CMO Xu Qi Chase who confirmed the upcoming Q series will launch with four phones in its portfolio. Right now, Realme has officially released a teaser showing the rear design of the device. The device visibly packs a quad-camera setup with the teaser pointing to a 48MP main sensor. The device is also teased to pack a Snapdragon 712 chipset. There is also an indication that the device will likely have a price tag in the triple-digit region, likely 999 yuan (~$140).
A couple of hand-on pictures of the phone has also appeared on Weibo showing the device in all its glory. The pictures reaffirm it is indeed the Realme 5 Pro. In addition to the quad-camera setup at the rear stacked at the left corner, the front design includes the same waterdrop notch housing the selfie camera. Check out more of the pictures from below.
