Just a couple of years back, realme smartphones used to run ColorOS. After becoming an independent brand, the company started using realme UI, which is nothing but a fork of ColorOS. The second iteration of this mobile software called realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 was announced in September 2020. Since then, the firm has been rolling out beta as well as stable builds to eligible devices. The latest handsets to get beta builds are realme 5 Pro, realme narzo 30 Pro 5G, and realme 30A.

At the end of March, realme shared an updated realme UI 2.0 update rollout plan. According to it, the realme narzo 30 Pro 5G and the realme 30A are scheduled to receive beta builds in Q3. However, the brand has started recruiting beta testers beforehand. Whereas, the beta registrations for the realme 5 Pro goes live on time.

In order to enroll in the realme UI 2.0 Early Access program, users should be on the following firmware versions.

To register, users will have to navigate to Settings > Software Update > Gear Icon > Trial Version > Apply Now and follow on-screen instructions. Applicants who get selected will get The Android 11 (realme UI 2.0) beta build via OTA.

The stable update should arrive in the future. But we can’t tell how soon. Because realme has managed to deliver stable builds only for a few devices.
