A smart home product provider, Aqara debuted its first Smart Wall Switch H1 EU for Europe. The smart switch is a regular light switch, that provides the user with new ways to control your home lighting and switch-wired devices. In short, they are a direct replacement for the traditional built-in switches at your house. Aqara Small Wall Switch supports both the round European wall boxes and 86mm square wall boxes.

The Wall Switch H1 EU series is available in Single and Double Rocker design along with the support for Neutral and No Neutral.
The company introduced the latest Wireless Remote Switch H1 (Double Rocker) with the Wall Switch H1 EU. Both the newly launched products support the Zigbee 3.0 protocol that enhances stability, compatibility, responsiveness, and energy efficiency.
Talking about the award-winning design, it features a metal frame that makes it more rigid and durable. Interestingly, the combination of the smart devices can be used in a 2-way setup. This means the user can control the connected device from two different places via commands or local automation. It can be later plugged in sync with virtual assistants so that the users can use it via voice commands.
The Wall Switch H1 EU is fully compatible with major voice assistants like Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, IFTTT, and more. Furthermore, it provides extra features such as power monitoring and overload protection. Also, it comes with an LED indicator that enables the user to take control of the smart devices connected with the Aqara Home app.

The Wireless Switch H1 features a 5-year battery life which is the longest among all Aqara battery-powered devices. The device reduces the response time down to 50 milliseconds and it is able to recognize 7 different configurable actions.
