Lenovo has announced two new Chromebooks ahead of Mobile World Congress next week. The new IdeaPad 5i and IdeaPad Flex 5i are powered by Intel’s 11th Gen Tiger Lake processors.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 5i is a 14-inch Chromebook with a FHD display and optional touchscreen. Depending on the configuration, the Chromebook comes with an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, Intel Core i3-1115G4, or Pentium 7505 processor. It has 4GB or 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of SSD storage.

For connectivity, there are two USB 3.1 Type-C ports, one USB 3.1 Type-A port, a MicroSD card slot, and a microphone/headphone combo jack. The device also has Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6.

Lenovo is offering the IdeaPad 5i in Sand and Storm Grey, and both models have a light bar below the trackpad. This light bar will switch between colors to show the amount of battery life remaining.

The IdeaPad 5i will be available next month with a starting price of $439.99

IdeaPad Flex 5i

If you want a 2-in-1, then the IdeaPad Flex 5i is for you. It has a 13.3-inch touch display with an option for an OLED panel. The same processor options as the IdeaPad 5i are available for it alongside a Celeron 6305 model. There is also 4GB or 8GB of RAM while storage is 32GB or 64GB eMMC or 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of SSD.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5i also has the same connectivity parts as the IdeaPad 5i. It will be available in Abyss Blue and Iron Grey with a starting price of $439.99 too.
