Ahead of the official launch, Chinese media outlets have managed to snag a hands-on unit of the Honor 20S, and they’ve shared images of the device online. They gives us an excellently detailed look at the device’s design, as well as some of the features it’ll come with. So, without further ado, let’s take a closer look at the upcoming Honor 20S.

First off, perhaps one of the more interesting things regarding the device is the side-mounted fingerprint scanner. We’ve seen similar implementations before like with the Meizu M6S and with the Honor 20 Pro as well. The same design continues with the new 20S too. Next thing we get a real close look at is the hole punch camera that’s offset to the left unlike the Galaxy Note 10.

On the top of the phone, we can see that the device features an IR blaster, which is pretty nice considering how some devices are dropping it altogether. There’s a slight chin, but otherwise it’s completely bezeless. Outside of that, the pictures don’t really reveal anything we don’t already know, especially since we already know so much.

We know that it’s coming with a Kirin 810 SoC, and we also know feature details like the 10 different beauty modes it’ll have. Really, all we really need to know now is pricing, but I doubt we’ll hear anything about that. The device is launching later today, so we won’t need to wait long to find out more.
