At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013 in Barcelona, Coolpad rumored re-introduced three new flagship smartphone models as well as the Coolpad 5890, Coolpad 7268 and Coolpad 8730.
One from the three models is the Coolpad 5890. The Coolpad 5890 is equipped with the 4.5-inch QHD (540 x 960 pixels) capacitive touch screen. This phone is running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (Chinese version) seem to rely on the existence of this Snapdragon quad-core processor based-on ARM Cortex-A5 MSM8625Q with 1.2GHz clock speed and 1GB of RAM plus Adreno 203 GPU.
The internal memory capacity of 4GB is used which can be expanded using MicroSD cards up to 32GB capacity through the existing microSD slot. In addition to packing a 5 megapixel rear camera and a VGA camera on the front, Coolpad 5890 is also has some features such as 2G, 3G, CDMA One, CDMA 2000 1 x RTT, CDMA 2000 1x EV-DO Rel.0, CDMA 2000 1x EV-DO Rev A, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotpspot, microUSB 2.0, DLNA, FM radio with RDS, Compass, Light sensor, Proximity and 1700mAh battery capacity.
Coolpad 5890 is exclusively run under the auspices of the China Telecom’s wireless network.
