Microsoft, is the biggest software vendor from USA has been annunce the availability of Microsoft Office for iPad, along with that, Microsoft is also offers a free version of Microsoft Office for iPhone and Android phone.
Office application is the one of important application for mbile user, Microsoft has been offered the Microsoft Office 365, but the user has to pay subscription fee as much as $7 per month or $70 per year. And now, you only need to has Microsoft account for full editing of Microsoft Office 365 in your iPad.
This service will allow users to use the Windows version of Office 2013 and Office for Mac and mobile applications. There are currently 350 million people have subscribed to Office 365 service, Microsoft apparently hopes to boost the number of users via the Office 365 iPad version.
Microsoft Office iPad version will include Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications, in addition to the ribbon interface, similar to Windows and Mac desktop versions. While the iPhone version of Office only includes some basic editing functions, iPad version will include more editing functions. Microsoft to ensure interoperability with the desktop version of a similar document, iPad version also contains text relocations, re-format and touch control. In Word, you can type, search, add comments and perform some basic font formatting, but that’s it. In Excel, you can search, filter and perform five simple mathematical functions. You can open existing PowerPoint files and edit slide text, but you can’t create new presentations.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said, “This is a beautiful set of applications, it is our genuine commitment to Office 365’s.” Nadella also describes a vision of Office 365 across devices and cloud computing. Obviously Nadella considered as Microsoft’s Office 365 cloud platform will shift from the desktop to the Office all devices, iPad version of Office to let this grand plan another step forward.
Microsoft also announced that it will launch Office applications for the Windows Store and other popular platforms, but today only the Office for iPad applications.
