After successfuly sold in Singapore in January this year, Xiaomi continue to spread to marketing their products in other Southeast Asian countries. The company’s is now officially launch the Xiaomi Store in Malaysia, on Monday, May 19th 2014 and launch several products.
Xiaomi has been held the press conference shich attended by Xiaomi President and Vice President, Lin Bin and Hugo Barra, they show off their new flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi3. The phone is packs with 5 inch screen size, and powered by Snapdragon 800 processor, for the 16GB version is sold for RM 889 (about $300 USD) price tag per unit.
Xiaomi has preparing the 4,000 units of Mi3, and reported that the phone is isold out less than 20 minutes.
In addition, Xiaomi smartphone is also brings the Redmi (Hongmi) 1S series for the Malaysian market. But the new Redmi 1S will be sold starting next month. There is no information about th price tah but according to rumor, the new RedMi 1S will be sold around RM 413 (or about $140 USD) price tah per unit.
Xiaomi Redmi 1S comes with the 4.7 -inch 720p screen, powered by quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, sports with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, a microSD slot, 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.6 megapixel front facing camera, the phone is also has dual-SIM card, and has 2.000mAh battery capcity and running Android OS 4.3-based MIUI V5 interface.
