Lenovo has slashed the price of its mid range Vibe X smartphone to make it available at 22,999.

Initially, it was launched at Rs. 25, 999 in Indian Market, December 2013. It has cut price by Rs. 3,000. The phone is encased in polycarbonate body. It sports thin body of 6.9 mm. Its weight is 121 g. The Vibe X runs 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The smartphone has 5 inch full HD display with resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the pixel density is 440 ppi. The smartphone runs on 1.5 Ghz quad-core Media Tek (MTK 6589T) processor. It has storage of 16GB, the mobile has RAM of 2GB.
The 13 MP rear auto focus camera on Lenovo Vibe X has LED flash and a back illuminated sensor. The phone has a front camera, too, which takes 5MP with wide angle lense of 84 degrees. It presents Bluetooth, AGPS, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. Its is powered by 2,000mAh battery. In place of regular SIM it supports Micro-SIM. The dimensions of Lenovo Vibe X are as follows: 144x74x6.9.
Lenovo announced Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Vibe X and Vibe Z smartphones on tuesday. The Chinese company told that the updates will be released in phases, starting from May’s last week.
The new Kit Kat updates promise security enhancements, bug fixes,renewed UI, lessened icons and refurbished new incoming call interface. Similarly, the camera offers camera enhancements such as efficient auto focus and white balance for clear and sharp images. The new update will enhance Vibe X’s power management for better utilisation of battery.
