Recent reports have revealed that the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) with model number SM-J250 is an upcoming entry-level smartphone from the company. Well-known tipster Roland Quandt has revealed the entire specifications of the smartphone along with its images on a German publication.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) is expected to arrive with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display that will be supporting qHD resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The modest Snapdragon 425 chipset will be powering the phone with its 1.4 GHz quad-core processor.

The SoC will be supported by 1.5 GB of RAM and it will be coming with a native storage of 16 GB. It is also expected to feature a microSD card slot and it will arrive preloaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. For photography, it will be featuring an 8-meapixel rear snapper whereas its front side will be housing a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Both the cameras will be equipped with LED flash.

The connectivity features that will be available on the Galaxy J2 (2018) are dual-SIM support, 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB 2.0, v4.2 Bluetooth, Cat. 4 LTE modem that supports a maximum download speed of 150 Mbps, and Wi-Fi 802.11n. The handset will be featuring a battery of 2,600mAh capacity. The body of the device will be made out of plastic and it will be weighing 153 grams.

Quandt claims that it will be landing in Russia and some emerging markets in the coming weeks. In Russia, the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) will be available with a price tag of 8,000 Rubles (~$136). It is expected to come in two color choices like Black and Gold as shown in the above images.
