Honor has announced that the Grey color variant of its Honor 9 Lite will now be available in India from next week. The phone, which was launched in India last month, is already available in Midnight Blue and Black Sapphire colors.
The first flash sale for the ‘Glacier Grey’ color variant of the Honor 9 Lite will take place on the e-commerce website Flipkart on 6th February, alongside Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue color variants.
Commenting on the introduction of this new grey color variant, P Sanjeev, Vice President, Sales, Huawei Consumer Business Group, said in a statement:
Honor registered a 3X growth in Q4 of 2017 as compared to Q4 of 2016 owing to our best seller devices and we are confident to continue to momentum with best in class products like Honor 9 Lite. With this grey variant in the market, we hope to not only expand the Honor 9 Lite portfolio but also continue the winning streak.
The phone features a 5.65-inch Full-HD+ IPS display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Huawei HiSilicon Kiri 659 processor. It is available in two variants based on the memory configuration — 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB onboard storage.
As of the camera department, the phone comes with four camera sensors. It has a dual camera setup both on the front and back sides, with 13-megapixel primary and 2-megapixel secondary camera sensors alongside a rear-facing LED flash and PDAF autofocus system.
The storage capacity of the device is expandable through microSD card up to 256GB. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The phone runs EMUI 8.0, which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. With an over-the-air update, the company will be adding Honor Ride Mode as well as one-touch payment integration through Paytm. It is powered by a 3,000mAh battery that is equipped with an intelligent power saving feature and promises to last full day on a single charge.
