ZTE has silently taken the wraps off a new phone – the ZTE A530. It is an entry-level phone with a full-screen display but is a bit pricey for what it offers.

ZTE A530

The A530 packs a 5.45” display with a 1440 x 720 resolution. The 18:9 display means it has smaller bezels which gives it an 82% screen-to-body ratio.

The ZTE A530 is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek A530 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. There is a 5MP camera on the rear and a 2MP front-facing camera.

The phone runs Mifavor 5.2 based on Android Oreo and packs a 2,660mAh battery. It also has dual SIM slots and a dedicated microSD card slot. There is a 3.5mm audio jack, a micro-USB port, Bluetooth 4.1, 4G LTE support, and dual VoLTE for connectivity.

The phone comes in silver and is priced at ¥799 (~$127) but isn’t yet available for purchase. Maybe ZTE will have a proper launch soon and announce availability.
