In March, Vivo had launched the Snapdragon 660 chipset powered Vivo X21 and X21 UD smartphones. According to a Weibo tipster, the Chinese manufacturer is now rumored to be working on a MediaTek Helio P60 powered edition of the X21. The new variant is speculated to debut as Vivo AI Smart Photo X21i or Vivo X21i. The tipster seems has the same unannounced smartphone to post about the new X21 variant. The X21i along with Helio P60 has been spotted on Geekbench benchmarking platform.

The tipster has claimed that the Vivo X21i will debut soon. However, there are no details available on its launch date or pricing. On Geekbench, the X21i has scored 1,499 and 5,777 in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The Geekbench listing reveals that it is powered by ARMMT6771V/C which refers to the MediaTek Helio P60 SoC. The chipset is coupled with 6 GB of RAM and the handset is running on Android 8.1.0 Oreo.

There is no information available on the other specifications of the Vivo X21i. However, it is likely that the X21i will feature the same specs and design. Hence, it is expected to arrive with 6.28-inch S-AMOLED display that offers FHD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. The X21 comes in 64 GB and 128 GB storage models. However, there is no confirmation whether the X21i could be also arriving in two storage variants. The smartphone is expected to include 12-megapixel dual camera setup, 12-megapixel front-facing camera and 3,200mAh battery.

The only major difference on the X21i could be the presence of the new Helio P60 that will bring some more AI capabilities to the phone. Moreover, the handset is speculated to arrive with a cheaper pricing.
