Smartisan has a new smartphone launching tomorrow. New reports have revealed that the smartphone called the Smartisan R1 will come with the same camera sensor as the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s.

Sample photos of the Smartisan R1 were posted online along with the EXIF data and some users guessed the phone uses a Sony IMX363 processor. Smartisan’s product manager later confirmed that the phone indeed features the Sony IMX363 sensor with a f/1.8 aperture.

While Smartisan has always scored points for the design of its phones, it appears camera performance has always been an issue. However, that seems to have gotten better with the R1.

The Smartisan R1 launches tomorrow and will come with a Snapdragon 845 processor and wireless charging support.
