The Xiaomi Mi 8 will launch on May 31. The flagship will launch as a special edition phone to mark the 8th anniversary of the company.
Yesterday, the pricing and memory configuration leaked and it revealed that the phone will start at ¥2799 (~$438) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB model and jump to ¥3199 (~$500) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB model. New photos have surfaced that show the Mi 8 may sell for more on the streets of China.
[envira-gallery id=”192703″]The photos were taken at an offline store that put up a handwritten sign that says the Xiaomi Mi 8 will sell for ¥2999 (~$469) and will be available for pre-order on May 31. While the store doesn’t mention the storage variant that will be sold at this price, our guess is it is the 64GB model.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 will come with a Snapdragon 845 processor, 3D facial recognition, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 6.01-inch display.
