Through the official Redmi Mobile Weibo account, Xiaomi has confirmed that it will be announcing something new tomorrow at 10 AM in China. Netizens are now speculating that the company may announce the arrival of Redmi 6 series.

Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite

In the recent past, a Redmi phone with model number M1805D1SE has received certification from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The smartphone had surfaced before the unveiling of the Xiaomi Mi 8 on May 31, but the company did not announce it at the press conference.

According to the TENAA listing of the M1805D1SE, its dimensions are 149.33 x 71.68 x 75mm and it weighs 178 grams. The backside of the phone seems to be made of metal. The TENAA images of the phone have revealed that it will be Xiaomi’s first ever budget phone with notched display design. It will be housing a 5.84-inch screen that produces Full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels.

The M1805D1SE Xiaomi phone is fueled by an octa-core processor that clocks at 2.0 GHz. It is speculated that the smartphone could be featuring the Snapdragon 625 SOC. It will be coming RAM options like 2 GB / 3 GB / 4 GB and its storage variants are 16 GB / 32 GB / 64 GB.

For photography, the alleged Xiaomi Redmi 6 features a vertical dual camera setup that includes a 12-megapixel primary sensor. There is no information on its secondary sensor. It is fitted with a front camera of 5-megapixel. The handset is packed with a 3,900mAh battery.
