Oppo’s expansion continues: after announcing its arrival in Europe (France, Spain, Netherlands, and Italy), the Chinese company currently in the top 5 world best smartphone brands has confirmed the launch of the Oppo A3 mid-ranger in Taiwan. The device will be available to purchase in the Asian country starting 23rd June. If you are from Taiwan, you will be able to get it through both online and offline channels. Indeed, it will be available on Oppo’s e-store, Oppo Experience stores and the most important e-commerce sites in Taiwan.

The device will be sold with a listing price tag of NTD 10,990 which roughly translates into $365 or €315. For the first buyers, there will also be an OTG pen drive worth about $15 as gift. In case you don’t know, it is a pen drive you can connect to your phone as it features the OTG USB technology which makes the connection to the charging port possible. Oppo A3 has an elegant glass + metal design with a diamond-like finish on the back. It is equipped with a wide 6.2-inch display showing images at a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. The bezels are very narrow and there is also a notch.

Under the hood, there is an octa-core Helio P60 SoC, the best one released by MediaTek in 2018 (still midrange class) which can run at a max frequency of 2 GHz. Alongside the powerful SoC, there is 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded with a micro SD up to 256 GB. The micro SD slot is a dedicated slot, that means you can use both the dual SIM and the micro SD slot at the same time. Oppo A3 has a main camera with a 16 MP resolution and a f/1.8 aperture, a front snapper with an 8 MP resolution and a 3400 mAh battery.
