The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is going to be unveiled on July 19. The recent teasers of the smartphone have revealed that it will be housing a mega display of 6.9 inches and a huge battery of 5,500mAh capacity. The latest teaser that Xiaomi has released on its Weibo account today reveals its front and rear design.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 that can be seen in the video confirms its design that have been already revealed through the leaked videos that appeared in recent weeks. The Mi Max 3 features a tall aspect ratio screen. Its upper and lower bezels are slightly thick but are smaller in size when compared to predecessor model. The backside of the smartphone has a dual camera setup which features an LED flash placed in between the two sensors. A fingerprint reader also resides on the rear shell of the phone.

Recent leaks suggest that the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will borrow some specs like SoC and dual camera setup from the Redmi Note 5 Pro. According to past reports, the Mi Max 3 will be fueled by Snapdragon 636 that includes 1.8 GHz octa-core processor. The Sony IMX363 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup is expected to be available on the Xiaomi phablet.

The base model of the Mi Max 3 may feature 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The other models of the smartphone include 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage and 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The massive 18:9 display of the phone will be offering FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.

Shown above are the teaser images of the Mi Max 3 that Xiaomi had released in the recent past. The image on the right shows the “Arena of Valor” (King of Glory) game running on the screen of the Mi Max 3. This suggests that the handset will support good frame rate. Hence, it is speculated that it could be the Snapdragon 710. Probably, this model will be called Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Pro. However, a concrete proof to confirm on the existence of Mi Max 3’s SD710 edition is yet to surface.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 that was unveiled on May 31 is the first smartphone to feature dual-band GPS technology for accurate location tracking. The image shown on the left side suggests that the Mi Max 3 will offer better GPS navigation. Hence, there is a possibility that the Mi 8 could be equipped with dual-band GPS module for better location tracking experience.
