Motorola has an unveil event coming up on Aug. 2. Speculations are rife that the company may announce the Motorola One Power smartphone at the forthcoming launch event. Today, a new Motorola phone with model number XT1942-1 has appeared on TENAA with its entire specifications. The same model number was recently certified by 3C body in China. The images of the smartphone that it could be the Motorola One Power smartphone.
According to the TENAA listing of XT1942-1, the handset measures 155.8x 75.9 x 9.98mm and it weighs 170 grams. The handset can be availed in colors like black, white, gold and silver. The handset houses a notched display that measures 6.18 inches. The screen offers Full HD+ resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels which indicates that it will offer an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is packed with a huge battery of 4,850mAh capacity.
An octa-core processor that clocks at 1.8 GHz is the driving force of the X1942-1. It indicates that it could be arriving with Snapdragon 636 SoC. Its RAM variants are 3 GB, 4 GB and 6 GB and it will be arriving in storage options such as 32 GB and 64 GB. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot on the phone.
The smartphone will come preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo. The back panel of the phone will be equipped with 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup. For shooting selfies, it will be arriving with a frontal shooter of 8-megapixel.
As far as the appearance of the X1942-1, its appearance matches with the recently leaked images of Motorola One Power. The screen features a wider notch and its chin is thick enough to feature the branding of the company. The top-left corner of the rear shell of the smartphone features a dual camera setup with an LED placed between the two camera sensors. A fingerprint scanner could be embedded in the Motorola batwing logo on the rear.
Rumors have it that there is another smartphone named Motorola One. As of this writing, there is no information available on the pricing of One and One Power.
