After months of leaks, Nubia has finally announced a date for the release of the Nubia Z18 flagship. The manufacturer took to Weibo today to reveal the date for the unveiling.

According to the Weibo post, the Nubia Z18 will be announced on September 5. This is the same date as the launch of the Honor 8X, Honor 8X Max and Honor Band 4.

The teaser poster shows the silhouette of the phone and confirms it will come with a notch similar to that of the Essential PH-1. The TENAA listing of the Nubia Z18 revealed the phone will have a 5.99-inch FHD+ screen with a 1080 x 2160 resolution.

It will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor with 6GB of RAM on the base model and 8GB of RAM on the high-end version. Storage will be 64GB and 128GB respectively. For optics, Nubia has slapped a 24MP + 8MP dual combo on the rear while an 8MP sits within the notch above the display.

The Nubia Z18 will also come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner though we won’t be surprised if it has Face Unlock too. A 3350mAh battery will be included and Android 8.1 Oreo will be pre-installed.
