ZTE took the wraps off the Axon 9 Pro yesterday and it wasn’t disappointing one even though we felt it could have come in a little bit cheaper. There is the school of thought which felt the Chinese company could have put a lesser price tag on the model since the company is still dealing with credibility issues. ZTE would have none of that, though, as the Axon 9 Pro comes with a price tag of 649 euros (~$757). Apparently, the company still enjoys a good customer patronage in Germany where the model will first be released this September. Russia is another of the company’s stronghold in addition to China. Apart from the U.S where there is a government-induced apathy, the model should launch globally soon. 
We take a look at the Axon 9 Pro design from these pictures that were scooped from Weibo. In truth, the Axon 9 Pro design isn’t in anyway inspiring but looks generic. However, the build still retains the quality for which the Axon series is known. The Axon 9 Pro utilises a glass back design. The Axon 9 Pro has an expansive 6.21-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display sporting a resolution of 2,248 x 1,080 display. It is no longer news that it packs an iPhone X-like notch on the display. The mammoth size brings a high chance of the phone getting dropped which could lave the screen broken. We believe there is some form of Gorilla Glass onboard. 
The device comes with an IP 68 level water and dust resistance and as a result of this, ZTE had to sacrifice the 3.5mm audio port. However, there is a USB-C port for charging and data transfer. The Axon 9 Pro also packs a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on such a giant size body. The aspect ratio may actually make for easy access to the fingerprint sensor. There is a rear camera setup which is stacked vertically at the top left corner
Another impressive aspect is the big 4,000mAh battery which firs up the device. ZTE claims the battery can deliver up to 24 hours battery power in just an hour. See more pictures from below.
