Sometimes software updates can bring features you would never expect if not with a change in the hardware. It is the case with Vivo V11 Pro, the latest upper-midrange device from the BBK-owned Chinese company which has just received a new update bringing it closer to a flagship with a very interesting feature. Thanks to the new update which is rolling out on the new handset, it can now record videos in 4K resolution, even though it is not present in the changelog. However, note that 4K videos are not stabilized (neither with EIS, which is available with the 1080p resolution).

The update has a weight of 151 MB, so we suggest you download it while you are connected to a Wi-Fi network. It brings the number of version of the firmware to 1.7.6 (Funtouch OS based on Android Oreo). Besides 4K video recording, according to the changelog, the new update for Vivo V11 Pro also brings a new Smart Launcher which integrates various services in the form of cards. Thanks to it, will be easier to create shortcuts to quick actions and several other features.

The update comes with improvements to system security and stability, as well as optimizations to touch screen. At last, network adaptability has been optimized in some regions in order to bring more stability to the network connection. Vivo V11 Pro was recently launched in India with a pretty good camera setup composed of a dual sensor with 12 and 5 MP resolutions as well as f/1.8 and f/2.4 apertures, respectively. It has a borderless display with a 6.41-inch size, a Full HD+ resolution, and an in-display fingerprint reader. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset supported by 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB ROM.
