OPPO’s sub-brand Realme will be announcing the Realme 2 Pro smartphone on Sept. 27. A leaked image that had surfaced few hours ago had reveled that the handset would be equipped with Snapdragon 660, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. A new OPPO phone with model number RX1807 has appeared with the same specs on Geekbench. Hence, it appears that the upcoming Realme 2 Pro has just paid a visit on benchmarking site.

According to the Geekbench listing of the OPPO RX1807, it features Snapdragon 660 and 8 GB of RAM. The handset is loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo OS. In single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the alleged Realme 2 Pro has respectively scored 1452 and 5511.

Realme CEO Madhav Sheth had recently teased the handset during a recent interview. The handset will be sporting a Diamond design on its rear shell and it will be available in blue color. It features a waterdrop notch. There is a possibility that it may borrow the 6.3-inch 19.5:9 aspect ratio display from the OPPO F9 Pro.

Previous reports have suggested that there will be a lower variant of the smartphone that may feature 6 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 64 GB. The handset will be coming with dual rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Android Oreo OS on the phone will be overlaid with the latest version of ColorOS skin by the company. Exact details on the camera configuration and battery capacity of the Realme 2 Pro are still under the wraps.

The 32 GB and 64 GB Realme 2 variants are respectively priced at Rs. 8,990 (~$125) and Rs. 10,990 (~$152) in India. The leaked specs of the Realme 2 Pro suggest that it could be priced around Rs. 20,000.

What could be the ideal pricing for the Realme 2 Pro considering the fact that it will be equipped with SD660, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB storage and better display? Share us your thoughts by posting your comments below.
