It’s been almost half a year since the Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro in India. Due to its good specs at an affordable price, it has generated a lot of sales here. It’s one of the best devices from Xiaomi concerning the number of sales in the last few months. It’s a real value for money device as proved by the number of sales it generated. With time, Xiaomi has not forgotten it, and they are still providing continuous updates to the device. Today, another update is rolling out for Redmi Note 5 Pro with many bug fixes.
The new update will improve the overall stability of the device. It will smoothen the device experience by refining the Operating System. There are plenty of fixes that have been added to neutralize the little bugs. Recently, a big update downgraded the experience on the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Now, the MIUI V10.0.4.0 update is rolling out to improve the experience. It is out for the global version of the device aka users in India might have already started receiving the new update.
Users who didn’t receive the update, they can check it manually. Users can check for the update manually by heading to the Settings>>Software Update. The new update weighs around 1.6GB in size.
As per the official changelog, Xiaomi has optimized the USB connection notification and has restored lock screen which didn’t light up after receiving unimportant notifications. In camera, color rendering issues have been resolved. The system has been updated to October Android Security patch.
Prior to the update, users were complaining about several issues. Now, it needs more time to let users evaluate, whether the issues have been fixed or not.
