There are plenty of news stories based on rumors, reports, teasers, and leaks touting about Nokia 9 Pureview launch on December 5. Now, it seems the plans have been shifted to launch Nokia 9 Pureview by the end of this month. As revealed by Nokia community (@nokiamobileru) on Twitter, the new device launch has been postponed due to unknown reasons. The decision to delay the launch is made by its chief product officer, Juho Sarvikas.
If we believe the tweet from an official source, then it contradicts the official teasers reporting its launch on December 5th in Dubai. Well, the real reason behind the delay is unknown, but it could be some technical glitch or some software issue related to its new camera system. It’s quite bad news for those who were anxiously waiting for the Nokia 9 Pureview. Still, we hope, Nokia will come up with the new device before the given time, as like they did for Nokia 9.
Additionally, as per the reports and leaks, Nokia 9 Pureview is expected to be available with dual glass design on both sides of the device. It’s borders rumored to be engraved with a metal frame. Nokia 9 has been leaked with specs such as wireless charging, Android 9 Pie, and a huge battery.
Concerning hardware specs, it will get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 on board coupled with 8 GB RAM, 128GB storage. It will host a 5.9-inch display having an aspect ratio of 18:9. Unsurprisingly, Nokia 9 Pureview will not have any 3.5 mm headphone jack and will carry 4150 mAh battery along with water and dustproof ratings.
Many photography enthusiasts are also waiting for this device as it carries Pureview five-camera setup. It’s a high-end device, and we expect Nokia to price it accordingly to get most out of sales.
