UMIDIGI is a Chinese brand that has announced a lot many devices and is now garnering good sales. It was earlier known by the name UMI and the brand is primarily famous for its budget flagship devices. The brand recently came into highlight because of its recent UMIDIGI Z2 smartphone and this time they’ve dropped another bomb. The brand has just introduced the all-new UMIDIGI F1 smartphone. UMIDIGI F1 borrows its essential design elements from some well-known devices belonging to the brands like Oppo and Vivo. The device comes powered by a MediaTek Helio P60(64 bit) Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.0Ghz coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a Mali-G72 GPU for graphics-intensive tasks. As described by the brand this device can easily handle high-end games like PUBG, Asphalt 9 Legends, etc. The device is beings shipped with 128GB’s of onboard storage which is expandable up to 256GB’s via micro-SD card.
In the front, the handset uses a massive 6.3(inch) FHD+ In-cell LTPS Display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, 92.7% screen-to-body ratio. The panel employed here has 19.5:9 aspect ratio which is excellent considering it as a budget player. UMIDIGI F1 packs a 16MP+8MP Dual-rear Camera setup with Aperture f/1.7, LED Flash whereas in the front a 16MP selfie snapper has been provided. This is UMI’s first ever device to run on the latest Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
The handset comes fueled by a mammoth 5150mAh battery with 18W fast charging. For connectivity and miscellaneous features, this device offers Dual-SIM, 4G, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, Fingerprint Scanner, etc. This smartphone will be made available in Red, Black, and Gold color options. The device will go on open sale starting from 7th Jan 2019 for a crazy price tag of $199.
