Vivo already has three NEX phones – the NEX A, the NEX S, and the recently launched NEX Dual Display. However, a new trademark listing has revealed that Vivo has more NEX phones in the pipeline.

Vivo NEX Trademarks

The Chinese smartphone maker trademarked a bunch of names last week at the European Union Intellectual Property Office. The documents reveal the company has trademarked the names NEX S, NEX V, NEX X, NEX Y, NEX Z, and NEX PLAY.

The NEX S already exists as it is the Snapdragon 845-powered version of the NEX A released back in June. The others are practically unreleased models. The NEX Play is presumed to be the first gaming phone in the series that will compete against phones like the Nubia Red Magic, Black Shark Helo, Razer Phone 2 and the ASUS ROG Phone.
