HMD Global has recently confirmed that the arrival of the Nokia 9 PureView has been delayed which suggested that could the Finnish might have initially planned to launch it at the end of 2019. It appears that the arrival of the Nokia 9 PureView may not be far since one of its model numbers TA-1094 has been certified by Bluetooth SIG body. The TA-1087 and TA-1082 models that have been approved along with TA-1094 are speculated to be the variants of the Nokia 9 PureView.

Few months ago, a leaked photo of the alleged Nokia 9 PureView smartphone featuring penta-lens camera setup had surfaced online. The TA-1094 model number was also mentioned on of the labels that was placed on the rear side of the smartphone.

The Bluetooth SIG certifications of TA-1094, TA-1087 and TA-1082 reveal that they do not support 5G. Also, they carry support for Bluetooth 5.0 and 4G LTE networks. Nothing else has surfaced on the specs of the Nokia 9 PureView through its Bluetooth SIG certification. Speaking of certification, the Nokia TA-1087 has been also approved by Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in the recent past.

Rumors have it that the Nokia 9 PureView may get announced after the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019 that is usually at the beginning of January and before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) that is heled at the end of February. Usually, a device gets unveiled around a month or two after it receives Bluetooth SIG certification. Hence, it appears that the Nokia 9 PureView could be announced in late January or early February in the coming year.

HMD Global is yet to launch a smartphone powered by Snapdragon 845. Since the Nokia 9 PureView is rumored to support only for 4G LTE networks, it could be the first Snapdragon 845 powered phone from the company. There is no fingerprint scanner on the rear side of the Nokia 9 PureView which indicates that it will be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The handset could be equipped with a notch-less OLED screen with support for Quad HD+ resolution. The SD845 SoC of the phone could be supported by 8 GB of RAM.

The Nokia 9 PureView is rumored to house a big battery of 4,150mAh capacity. It may also include support for wireless charging. The handset may come up to 128 GB of storage. It likely to lack support for 3.5mm audio jack.
