Xiaomi is all set to launch its all-new Xiaomi Play smartphone on 24th December in China. While most of the details related to the phone have already leaked online, a new report sheds light on the bundled offer with the purchase of Xiaomi Play.

A Weibo user has shared an image of the Xiaomi Play’s retail box, which reveals that the smartphone will come with 10GB of free internet data for one year. Currently, there’s no further information available related to this offer.

Xiaomi Play Retail Box Leak Reveals Bundled Offer

The ‘Play’ name hints that the phone will focus on entertainment, gaming, other such ‘fun’ stuff. This will mark the expansion of the company’s portfolio of smartphones with a new series and the Xiaomi Play will be the first smartphone in this new series.

Earlier, there were rumors suggesting that the Xiaomi Play could be the rebranded version of the Pocophone F1 for the Chinese market. However, the images shared by the company has confirmed that the Xiaomi Play will be an all-new phone and not a rebranded model.

Recently, we reported that the Xiaomi Mi Play will come in three variants — 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage, and 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. It is also expected to have a microSD card slot for expanding the storage capacity.

Further, it has also been leaked that the smartphone will be offered in three colors — Black, Dream Blue, and Dawn Gold. Xiaomi has been teasing the phone, revealing its design which confirmed that it will come with a waterdrop notch, making it first smartphone from Xiaomi to have such notch.

Additionally, the phone is confirmed to come with dual rear cameras which is likely to be powered by artificial intelligence technology. On the front side, it will come equipped with an 8-megapixel snapper. The rear camera sensors are stacked vertically in the top-left corner and there’s also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The TENAA listing of the phone suggests that the device will feature a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display having 2280 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. The listing also reveals that the phone will be powered by a moderate 2,900mAh battery. The Mi Play is running Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own MIUI custom interface.
