OPPO had recently launched the OPPO R17 and OPPO R17 Pro in India. The Pro variant has been available for buying since some time, but the R17 has been made available for buying started from today. The handset is exclusively available for purchase through Amazon India.
The OPPO R17 Pro carries a price tag of Rs. 45,999 while the OPPO R17 is priced at Rs. 34,990 in India. Customers who purchase the R17 can advantage of up to 3.2 TB of 4G data from Reliance Jio and benefits of up to Rs.4,900 through Jio and Make My Trip. Buyers can also take advantage of various bank offers including no cost EMI.
The OPPO R17 features a 6.4-inch OLED waterdrop notch display that carries support for full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It is equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The display of the phone is protected by Gorilla Glass 6.
The Snapdragon 670 chipset is present under the hood of the device. The SoC is coupled with 8 GB of RAM. The handset includes an internal storage of 128 GB. It also features a microSD card slot for additional storage.
The backside of the OPPO R17 features a dual camera setup that includes an f/1.8 aperture 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. For capturing selfies, the handset is equipped with a 25-megapixe selfie shooter. With AI onboard, the R17 can capture optimized photos in dim-light conditions.
The handset is packed with a 3,500mAh battery that is enabled with support for 20W VOOC flash charging. By charging the device for 5 minutes, users can two hours of battery life.
The R17 is loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo OS that is flavored with ColorOS 5.2 UI. The smartphone can be availed in colors like Ambient Blue and Neon Purple.
