The update comes as OxygenOS 9.0.4 to the OnePlus 6 while the more recent 6T gets it as OxygenOS 9.0.12. Apart from the security patch, the update fixes bugs and improves system performance. It also brings deep integration with Google Duo and optimizations for the display of the OnePlus 6T.

As usual, this is rolling out incrementally, so if it hasn’t hit your device yet, you should look out for it over the next few days. If you can’t wait, some users have reported that changing your VPN to Germany or Canada brings up the update. The update is 138MB in size for the OnePlus 6T and 143MB for the OnePlus 6.
