Yesterday, Tmall released a list of products that will be available on its online platform in March. The list mentioned the Vivo X27 which means a launch will occur next month. Today, two new phones believed to be the X27 have now been spotted on TENAA’s database, complete with full specs.

Vivo

Appearing as the Vivo V1829A and Vivo V1829T, the Vivo X27 will have a  6.39-inch AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2340 resolution. It will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. This chipset is likely the Snapdragon 710.

The processor is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. There is no support for storage expansion which shouldn’t be a surprise anymore since its predecessor – the Vivo X23 also doesn’t have a MicroSD card slot.

The Vivo X27 will come with a triple rear camera setup made up of a 48MP primary sensor, a 13MP secondary sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor.  The selfie camera has also been upgraded to a 16MP sensor. Unfortunately, TENAA hasn’t provided images of the phone, so we don’t know what the design is like.

The phone packs a 3,920mAh battery with support for fast charging. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner and will run Android 9 Pie out of the box.

TENAA gives its dimensions as 157.66 × 74.26 × 8.95 millimeters and its weight as 188.3 grams. The X27 is thicker than the X23 which has a thickness of 7.5 millimeters, this is probably due to the bigger battery. It will be available in gold but we expect there will be other colors when it launches.
