Huawei, which has released a couple of smartphones this week, is currently gearing up to launch its next-generation P-series phones — the company’s flagship lineup. The Chinese company has scheduled a launch event on 26th March in Paris to launch the P30, P30 Pro and P30 Lite smartphones.
Now, ahead of the phone’s official launch, new information related to the smartphones keep surfacing online. Today, the company has shared a teaser video of the upcoming smartphone, highlighting the phone’s camera features.

The teaser video mainly showcases the camera functions of the upcoming Huawei P30 series smartphones. It shows a function that can adjust or change the background of the picture, even after the image has been clicked. The camera seems to be making use of ToF sensor as well.
The Huawei P30 Pro is expected to come with four camera sensors on the back, including a 38MP primary sensor, a super wide-angle camera sensor, and a telephone lens with support for 10x optical zoom. Along with the ToF lens for capturing the depth information, the camera is also said to come with dual LED flash and laser autofocus.
Earlier, Clement Wong, Vice President at Huawei for Global Product Marketing, had said that the P30 Pro will have a camera module in a periscope structure to achieve the super zoom capabilities, with a lossless zoom of 10x optical.
As for the specifications, the Huawei P30 series smartphones are expected to come with an OLED display and powered by the company’s latest Kirin 980 octa-core chipset. The phones will have multiple variants based on the memory configurations and run EMUI 9 based on Android 9 Pie. The smartphones are also expected to have 40W Super Fast Charging support.
To know for sure what’s up the company’s sleeves for the P30 series smartphones and its pricing and availability details, we’ll have to wait for the official launch event to take place on 26th March in Paris.
