HMD owned Nokia went official with Nokia 9 Pureview couple of weeks back. It followed with the announcement of other Nokia smartphones such as Nokia 210, Nokia 1 Plus, Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2. Among all these, Nokia 9 Pureview is the only high-end device featuring the first ever rear Penta camera module. While talking about the new update, Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer at HMD Global, acknowledged the unreliable in-display fingerprint sensor issue. He emphasized that the company will try to improve the experience by mending the bugs. Since launch, many users also complained about the camera app crashes on low battery. The cause behind sudden app crashes is either related to low voltage or switching of the device’s profile.

“With more users out there, we’ve seen a few camera crashes due to battery voltage drop when charge is low. We will address this,” wrote Sarvikas.

Nokia has not confirmed any other detail about the software update. However, going with the company’s track records, we need not wait for long.

Additionally, Nokia 9 Pureview is currently available in the US and some European countries. Its launch in India and China is still pending.

As far as the specifications are concerned, Nokia 9 Pureview comes with a 5.99 inch Quad HD POLED display and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
