Oppo has scheduled a launch event on 10th April in China where the company is all set to launch its upcoming “Reno” smartphone series. Now, ahead of the phone’s launch, the company and its executives have been revealed details about the phones.

After the phone’s renders and key specs were leaked online, the company’s VP has now confirmed that the device will come in two variants. For users who prefer excellent camera performance, there will be a “top-end” model with 10x optical zoom support.

Oppo Reno SD710 SoC Confirmed

However, for those who just want decent smartphone performance can opt for the “standard” model of the Oppo Reno, which will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC and will come with the Sony’s 48 MP camera sensor.

Earlier, the phone’s specs had surfaced online, which revealed that it’ll feature a 6.4-inch display that probably supports Full HD+ resolution. The smartphone is fitted with a 48-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup and a front-facing snapper of 16-megapixel. The device is loaded with the latest ColorOS v6.0 and it is equipped with connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.0.

A recent trademark filing has revealed that the smartphone will be available in five variants — Reno Pro, Reno Plus, Reno Zoom, Reno Lite, and Reno Youth, differing in terms of specifications and performance. It also seems that Breeno — an AI-based voice assistant from Oppo will be made available on these Reno series smartphones.

As said, Oppo has already scheduled a launch event on 10th April in China to launch the Oppo Reno-series smartphones. However, it’s not yet known if the company will be launching all five smartphone models on the same day.
