China-bound Xiaomi Redmi Mi 9 SE could launch soon in India, reveals a new Xiaomi global compliances listing. In a bid to expand the device’s availability, the company is planning to debut it in India. However, Xiaomi didn’t confirm it officially, but we can’t even deny the possibilities of Mi 9 SE global launch.

Some evidence regarding its global availability surfaced in recent times. Xiaomi Mi 9SE was seen running  MIUI 10 Global stable ROM at MWC 2019. Xiaomi always builds two versions of its MIUI ROM. The first is mainly for the Chinese market and other for global markets, carrying more localisation options and other comprehensive services. It meant the Chinese electronics maker plans to sell it outside China.

Now the recent listing adds substance to the possibility of Mi 9 SE global launch.

Xiaomi Mi 9 SE launched in China a few weeks ago with mid-range specifications. It comes with 5.97-inch Full HD+ display having 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and 432 ppi. Unlike the standard Xiaomi Mi 9, it comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 octa-core Soc featuring Adreno 616 for graphical processing. Its triple rear camera module consists of 48MP + 13 MP  + 8 MP sensors with improved night photography and other useful features. A 20 MP front camera is present for beautiful selfies.

Xiaomi Mi 9SE is available different memory configurations: 6/64GB and 6/128 GB internal storage. In connectivity, LTE, HSPA, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi and USB 2.0 connectivity makes it compatible with newer standards. There’s 3070 mAh Li-Poly battery for extended power supply along with fast charging technology.

Recently, Xiaomi published its Android Pie based kernel source code for the public. It can be a potential hit in India if launched at an affordable price.
