At the P30 series launch event, Huawei also unveiled 12000 mAh 40W SuperCharge power bank featuring two-way fast charging and few other amenities. On the day of launch, Huawei didn’t confirm the availability details of the power bank. Though, Bruce Lee, the Vice President of Handset Business at Huawei Consumer Business Group now confirms the commencement of 40W power Bank sales next week.

The new Power Bank is compatible with various other devices, including accessories and some Apple products. In a recent Weibo post, Bruce Lee exposed it charging the Huawei Matebook with a data cable.

The power bank will charge the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, Honor Magic 2 and P30 series at 40W. It can SuperCharge 70% of Huawei P30 Pro’s 4200 mAh battery within 30 minutes. Inversely, the power bank itself supports 40W charging and can fully charge in 2 hours and 14 minutes. On standard 10W charge, you would have to wait for at least five hours.

It has two USB ports – USB-A for 40W charging and USB-C for Quick Charging the non-Huawei devices. Users can plug in MacBooks and other Laptops to charge using USB Type-C PD charging.

Moreover, the device has four LED charge indicators and a button to check charge status. It measures 135.4 mm x 69 mm x 15.5 mm and weighs 227 grams.

The device will retail in White and Blue colors for the price of 99 Euros (US$ 111 / 749 Yuan approx.). Huawei 40W SuperCharge device will start retailing from April 11th.
