Xiaomi added another feather to its cap by launching a new Lofans Cordless Steam Iron in China for 199 Yuan (~$30). It comes with adjustable gear, cordless charging stand, and a switch to use it wirelessly. Already plenty of cordless Irons are available in the market, but the affordability and Xiaomi’s brand popularity will ensure its huge sales.
The new Cordless Lofans Steam Iron is rated to consume 2000W power. Different usability modes – high-speed, low-speed and dry mode facilitates consumers and improves productivity while using it on different clothing materials. A 280 ml water tank is designed to iron multiple clothes using steam within a single session.
Xiaomi added a separate charging stand which can be detached upon unlocking – by pressing a specific button. It can withstand heat for 2 minutes after detaching from the charging stand. It can quickly preheat in 35 seconds along with the strong steam flow.
Xiaomi Lofans Cordless Steam Iron is wear resistant due to its aluminium frame and die-cast ceramic glaze over the top. It supports heating upto 200 °C and comes with -ve ion coating which helps to minimise high-temperature damage to clothes. The beautifully designed Iron can easily help users to iron clothes efficiently, and that too without any cord. Moreover, it can effectively save your clothes from bacteria and mites.
